Compact Zeno R290

AS01-R290

The smallest unit in the current family, with a published modulating output range from 3 to 9 kW.

3–9 kW43 dB(A)Single phase
  • 1167 mm wide and 795 mm high
  • Published COP of 4.79 at A7/W35
  • Integrated variable-speed heating pump

The model’s maximum figure is not automatically its available output at the local winter temperature and intended flow temperature.

One connected R290 platform

High-temperature capability with remote access.

Warmflow publishes leaving-water temperatures up to 75°C, integrated variable-speed circulation and Warmlink cloud connectivity across the Zeno R290 family.

Warmflow Nero heat-pump cylinders

Four dedicated hot-water sizes.

Nero heat-pump cylinders are designed to work with the Zeno range and use a high-performance heat exchanger to support faster recovery.

  • Published cold-water capacities of approximately 165–281 litres
  • High-performance heat exchanger and published recovery times of 21–34 minutes
  • Mains-fed unvented arrangement with inlet group supplied
  • Published V40 hot-water volumes from 229 to 401 litres

Warmflow publishes a 25-minute heat-up time to 60°C from cold for the 170-litre model under its stated test conditions. Real recovery depends on heat-pump output and operating conditions.

Controls and connectivity

The controller is the brain of the Zeno system.

Warmflow combines a user-facing touchscreen with Warmlink remote connectivity and a dedicated wiring centre for the wider heating system.

Warmlink

Remote control and diagnostic access through Warmflow’s cloud platform using the unit’s built-in 4G SIM.

  • No household Wi-Fi required*
  • Remote control capability
  • Supports remote diagnostics

System integration

Zeno Wiring Centre

Brings heating demands and associated system connections together in a dedicated control enclosure.

  • Neater system wiring
  • Matched to the Zeno installation
  • Specified around the selected hydraulic design

*Warmflow states Warmlink access is currently complimentary and subscription-free, but future charges may apply; GSM access depends on mobile-network coverage.

The Enerus design process

A Warmflow unit is one part of the system.

1

Calculate the demand

Room-by-room heat loss establishes the required duty, emitters and intended water temperatures.

2

Build the package

Zeno unit, Nero cylinder, controls, hydraulics, electrical supply and siting are brought into one proposal.

3

Commission and support

Flow rates, temperature control, schedules, connectivity and handover are completed as one finished system.

Common questions

Warmflow heat-pump FAQs.

What Warmflow Zeno outputs are available?

The current R290 range contains 9, 15 and 22 kW units, with published modulation ranges of 3–9, 5–15 and 8–22 kW respectively.

Are the Zeno R290 heat pumps single phase?

Warmflow currently lists all three Zeno R290 units for a 230 V single-phase electrical supply. The property supply and maximum electrical demand must still be assessed.

What sizes are the Nero heat-pump cylinders?

The dedicated heat-pump cylinder family includes 170, 200, 240 and 290 litre product sizes.

Can a Warmflow heat pump produce high-temperature water?

Warmflow publishes leaving-water capability up to 75°C. That does not mean a system should routinely operate at its maximum temperature; Enerus designs for the lowest practical water temperature.

Does Warmlink need the homeowner’s Wi-Fi?

Warmflow states that each Zeno R290 unit includes a built-in 4G SIM, so Wi-Fi or a CAT5 connection is not required. Access depends on mobile-network coverage and future service charges may apply.

Does a Warmflow heat pump qualify for grant support?

Warmflow states the range qualifies for applicable government support, subject to the property, installation and scheme conditions.
