About Enerus Home Services
Heating Systems Designed Around Your Home
Enerus is a North East heating company specialising in air source heat pumps, boilers, underfloor heating and long-term system care.
We combine honest advice, professional design and careful installation to create heating systems that improve comfort, efficiency and confidence in your home.
Our story
Built on quality, not sales targets
Enerus was founded on a straightforward belief: homeowners deserve informed advice, properly designed heating systems and a company that remains accountable after the work is finished.
We are not a national call centre or a faceless franchise. We are a local team of heating engineers, designers and renewable-heating specialists serving homes across the North East.
From a boiler replacement to a complete heat pump and underfloor-heating system, we apply the same principles: understand the home, explain the options clearly, install with care and support the customer afterwards.
That approach matters because heating is not simply a collection of products. Equipment has to work as one complete system—and that system has to suit the building and the people living in it.

From first conversation to long-term support
Our process is designed to give you clarity before you commit and confidence once your new system is running.
Step 1 of 4
Understand your home and what you want to achieve
We begin with a conversation about the property, the existing system and your priorities—whether those are comfort, reliability, running costs or moving to lower-carbon heating.
- Clear, practical advice without pressure
- Initial suitability and budget discussion
- A defined route to survey and design
Step 2 of 4
Design before selecting equipment
Where the project requires it, we calculate heat loss and assess emitters, hot water, controls and installation constraints. Recommendations are then built around the evidence.
- Room-by-room assessment
- System-level thinking
- Clear scope and written proposal
Step 3 of 4
Complete the work properly
Our engineers install the agreed system with attention to the details that affect reliability and performance, while treating your home with respect.
- Qualified and accredited trades
- Careful installation and testing
- Communication throughout the work
Step 4 of 4
Commission, explain and remain available
We set up the system, show you how to use it and provide the relevant certification and warranty information. Servicing and aftercare help protect performance over time.
- Controls setup and homeowner handover
- Commissioning and documentation
- Servicing and continued support
Standards and consumer protection
Qualified, certified and accountable
Accreditations matter because they set requirements for competence, technical standards and customer protection.
MCS certified
Certification for eligible renewable technologies and a requirement for access to the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
NAPIT registered
Recognised registration supporting competent electrical and building-services work.
TrustMark registered
The government-endorsed quality scheme for work carried out in and around the home.
HIES registered
Consumer-code protections for eligible home-improvement and renewable-energy installations.
Registration details should be reviewed whenever scheme records change. Ask us if you would like confirmation relevant to your proposed work.

People who care
Meet the founder
Lee Gillett is a second-generation plumbing and heating engineer who has worked in the industry since 2005.
After seeing how rushed installations, poor system design and unclear advice could leave homeowners frustrated and out of pocket, Lee founded Enerus to offer a more considered approach.
Today, he remains closely involved in technical design, quality standards and the way customers experience the company. The objective remains the same whether Enerus is replacing a boiler or designing a complete low-temperature heating system: do the thinking properly before doing the work.
“Homeowners deserve heating systems that are properly designed, professionally installed and supported long after installation. We treat every home with the care we would expect in our own.”
